Paldor Peak (5896m.)
Paldor peak climbnig is noted for climbing in remote area and isolated from other climbing peaks in the Himalayas. The peak lies at the south – east end of the Ganesh Himal in Langtang region. climbing paldor peak requires trekking through the typical Tamang villages under the shadows of Ganesh Himals exploring the remote parts of Langtang region.
The base camp will be set in a valley below the confluence of Pardor east and paldor west glaciers at an altitude of 4500m. There are several small peaks around for a long day climb on ice and rock, however, technical skills of climbing on ice and rock is required. High camp will be placed at 5200m. in Climbing paldor peak, the summit from the high camp is not far but requires some difficult climbing on steep ice and snow. North – East Ridge which is also called as Tilman’s Ridge and South – Rast Ridge are the main routes for climbing. The summit of paldor peak offers the spectacular view as far as Machhapuchhre in Annapurna region to the peaks of Everest region including Shisapangma in Tibet.
