Dhaulagiri (8167meters), the world's seventh highest peak, rises majestically from Kali Gandaki valley. Dhaulagiri circuit trekking is best suited for those who aspire for the challenging adventure trekking in Nepal. Around Dhaulagiri Trekking begins from the lowland inhabited by brahmins and chhetris and enters into the settlements of magars and gurungs (who are famous for Gurkha soldiers) as the trek gains altitude. Then the trek follows glaciers and crosses high snowcapped passes, proving a challenging of trekking in the remote areas.
