ANNAPURNA SANCTUARY TREK

The Annapurna, the most popular trekking region, offers the greatest variety of scenery, people, culture, flora & fauna. The Annapurna massif stretching 70 miles along the northern border of Nepal rising to the height of 8091 meters with stunning views make the trekking highly rewarding.

The Sanctuary denotes its natural serenity, beauty and abode of Hindu Goddesses Annapurna and Gangapurna. The trail leads to Annapurna Base Camp and Machhapuchhre Base Camp passing colorful Gurung villages, terraced fields, dense forest of pine and rhododendron, the word’s deepest river gorge - kaligandaki and ancient trade route to Mustang. For the spectacular panorama extending to Manaslu in the east and Dhaulagiri to the west including unrivalled views of Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail) Annapurna , Hiunchuli and others, Annapurna sanctuary offers some of the best trekkings in Nepal. At the Annapurna Base camp you will be surrounded by a spectacular ring of mountains including Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna III (7555 m), Gangapurna (7454 m) and Machhapuchhare (6997 m). One of the highlights of this trek will be a visit to Poon Hill to see the sun rise over Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massif.
