Kharta Valley – Kangsung
Face Trek
The trek from Kharta to Kangsung , the eastern face of the
Everest , is one of the best treks in the high Himalayas in
Tibet. Gorgeous valleys of infrequent human presence, Holy
lakes and the spectacular scenery offered by the icy mass of
Everest which looms over the high land of Tibet are
enchanting. The entire region from Kharta to the Kama valley
, extending to the Arun valley in Nepal, is a part of the
blessed land of Guru Rinpoche. Trekking through beautiful
valleys rich in vegetation and flowers and crossing over
high passes to Phetang Ringmo situated in an alpine valley
below the East face of Mt. Everest enhance the pleasure of
hiking for the adventure seekers.
