RAMDUNG PEAK
Ramdung is situated south of Na in the upper Rolwaling
region. We follow the trekking trail of one of the high
passes trekking in Nepal, Rolwaling – Tashi Lapcha Pass to
reach the base camp of Ramdung. From Na, we cross a river
and head to the east toward Yalung la to reach the base camp
at 4900m. High camp will be placed at 5500m. Climbing of
steep section is required near the summit. Although the
normal climbing route, North – East Face of the peak is
straightforward, the summit provides splendid summit
panorama from Langtang to Everest and magnificent view of
Gauri Shankar and Menlungtse.
