• MARDI HIMAL PEAK

Mardi Himal peak is one of the smaller peaks among trekking peaks in Nepal and a peak of little technical difficulty for climbing. The peak is situated in less than 15 miles from Pokhara and the most southerly peak of the Annapurna range. The summit of the peak offers magnificent view of Annapurna ranges and spectacular one of Machhapuchhre. A climbing trip to Mardi Himal can be combined with trekking in remote areas through dense forest of bamboo and rhododendron and pasture land away from human civilization. Base camp will be pitched at 4100m. below the south face of Mardi Himal and the south – west ridge of Machhapuchhre. High camp will be placed at 4600m. climbing steeply towards the col between the east face of Mardi Himal and the connecting ridge of Machhapuchhre. We climb to a col and further steep up of snow slopes leading to the summit.

Day 01: Kathmandu – Pokhara by land transportation.
Day 02: Drive to Hyangja and trek to Gyachok.
Day 03: Trek to Sano Khoban
Day 04: Trek to Pipa
Day 05: Rest day for acclimatization
Day 06: Trek to Thulo Kharka
Day 07: Trek to Mardi Himal base camp
Day 08: High camp
Day 09: Summit – base camp
Day 10: Spare day for summit
Day 11: Trek to Kumai
Day 12: Trek to Ghachok
Day 13: Trek to Pokhara
Day 14: Pokhara – Kathmandu by land transportation

1. Full camping trek arrangement ( guide, cook, kitchen boy, porters, all meals, cooking and camping equipment ).
2. Peak permit fee.
3. Climbing guide and his equipment allowance
4. High altitude tent, ropes, snow bars, gas (high fuel) & high food.
5. Staff insurance.
6. Kathmandu – Pokhara - Kathmandu land transportation
7. National Park entrance fee.
8. Airport arrival and departure

The cost does not include the expenses of personal nature, personal climbing gear, rescue by helicopter and accident insurance.
