Tibet has an average elevation of more than 4,000 meters and is famous as ‘third pole of the earth’. The great mountain ranges including Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu, Shishpangma which boarder Tibet with Nepal fall in the high Himalayas. Tibet not only boasts for spectacular panorama of silvery mountains and excitement of  ancient Buddhist culture, centuries old Buddhist monasteries but also a land of beautiful nature sceneries of exotic desert terrain, vast grass land, amazing turquoise lakes, spectacular scenery of extended valleys. Due to the nature of the landscape of Tibet, most of the Tibetans are engaged in agriculture and livestock. Trekking in Tibet is the best way to experience the nature scenery of vast grassland and desert terrain which are so different from the rest of the world.

The vast majority of Tibet is not within the range of driving in the highway. To experience Tibet as Tibetans have experienced it, we must walk. Trekking in Tibet could range from a few days walk for the circumambulation of Mt. Kailash to extended days of walk to get the best views of Mt. Everest in Kangshung face trekking or Kharta Valley trekking.  Simikot - Mt. kaialsh trekking explores the far western remote region of Nepal with great nature scenery and amazing circumbulance of Mt. kailash.
