Trekking peak climbing is popular among trekkers and offers the opportunities of climbing on the Himalayas. Trekking peaks are mostly concentrated in popular trekking regions; Everest, Langtang and Annapurna. Nepal Mountaineering Association is authorized to issue the trekking peak climbing permit for all the trekking peaks. Trekkers trekking to Everest base camp can combine their trekking with Island peak climbing, Lobuche peak climbing, Pokalde peak climbing to have the enjoyment of climbing and test their ability of climbing on high Himalayas. Trekking to Gokyo or Renjo Pass can enjoy their climbing on Kyajo Ri peak and Parchamo peak climbing. Trekking in remote areas east of Everest Valley offers the chance for climbing Mera Peak, the highest peak among the trekking peaks in Nepal.

Trekking to Annapurna circuit can be combined with climbing Pisang peak, Chulu East, Chulu West where as trekking to Annapurna base camp offers the opportunity for climbing Tharpu Chuli peak, Shingu Chuli peak for spectacular views of Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and more.  Trekking in Langtang region can be combined with climbing Naya Kanga peak or Langshisha Ri to enjoy the spectacular views of Langtang Himalayas and Cho Oyu including the views of Tibet.
